HAVE BETTER CONTROL ON HOW ZIP FILES ARE SEARCHED
One of the biggest strengths of Custom ROM Manager is how fast it searches for files in the device. On any modern device with Micro SD Card installed (apart from the usual internal storage), it can find all the useful zip files in under 0.5s across both the storages. The reason why it is so fast is basically because of these 2 reasons:

It searches where it should.
It does not search where it shouldn't.

While there is a restriction in free version which does not let to remove the main storage location entries from the locations where the app would search for zip files. The pro version removes this restriction, letting users to remove the default locations, and specifying exact storage locations where the zip files are usually present, making search result instantaenous. Additionally, Custom ROM Manager does not look into irrelevant folders where useful zip files wont usually be present. Pro version removes this restriction, letting users have total control on which folders are skipped while zip files are searched for, further boosting the search speeds.

Custom ROM Manager checks the size of a file to determine whether a zip file is a ROM or a GApps package or some other kind of zip file. In this way the app is able to distinguish between an actual ROM and zip files related to that ROM (like firmware, patches etc). The pro version lets users to have control on this 'size' parameter. This is important because, often, patches and firmwares have file names matching their corresponding ROM names, which often leads the app to detect it as ROM (although the way this setting is tuned by default is good enough for normal use cases), but letting users having a control on this brings more flexibility in operation.

USEFUL ACTIONS SPECIFIC TO A ROM/GAPPS
Pro version shows you useful actions on downloaded files belonging to specific ROM/GApp which you can perform with just one click. For example, it will suggest you an action to download an updated version of the ROM if it detects that the latest one present on your device is old and if your device is officially supported.

Swiping a zip file from left to right selects it for installation, and some pre-defined partitions are selected to be wiped. In pro version, users can customise what partitions are selected to be wiped when such a swipe event occurs.
Zip files can be additionally organised in subfolders of corresponding zip types.

THEMES & ADAPTIVE UI
Another great strengths of Custom ROM Manager is its UI and how uniform it is. And to achieve such uniformness, a custom in-house UI component was developed, which not only is versatile but also plays very well static and dynamic themes. The pro version offers 8 themes for the user to choose from, and due to the UI components being able to play very well with theme change, the result is a very beautiful UI with a user-personalized color scheme that opens up as much as possible. And then there is adaptive UI, which basically changes the UI colors to corresponding ROM/GApp section you are in. For example, if user is in the LineageOS section, the UI colors changes to match the teal color of LineageOS logo.

The pro version is much faster than the free version in general. Apart from that, it is also much lesser in size than free version. The download size is 39% less than the free version, and the final installation size is 40% less than the free version. Additionally, it consumes nearly 50% less memory than free version during operation. Yet it contains all the features of the free version plus some pro features of its own.
